DIGITAL

Documentation

Each Immortal Artifact will be catalogued according to scientific protocols. Important findings will be published in peer-reviewed journals for the world to see.

Tokenization

Each Fossil will be minted to the Ethereum blockchain as an NFT. The token representation allows the fossil to become a truly liquid Alternative Asset that can be traded at any time.

PHYSICAL

Protection

The Original specimen will be guaranteed in a secure and stable environment in a museum vault. Our experienced team will work with museums and research institutions to ensure that the object is made available for study in perpetuity.

Replication

Modern scientific molding techniques will be used to create a research-quality cast replica. This fossil will be hand painted to become indistinguishable from the original and will be delivered to the first majority owner of the tooth.

ETHEREAL

Exhibition

This aspect is the most fragile, but also the most important. Without the transmission of the stories related to these objects, their significance loses all of its value. Immortal works with top museums to make objects maximally available for viewing by Sponsors and in Public exhibitions.

Tokenization

Each Immortal Artifacts will be minted to the Ethereum blockchain as an NFT. This will be used in equal parts to fund the decentralized storage necessary to preserve the digital representation. The potential value of each standalone NFT as a tradeable asset will also be used as an incentive to fund the other preservation mechanisms documented

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Immortal Artifact?

An Immortal Artifact is a multi-faceted object which spans the physical, digital, and ethereal. Through the unification of these three realms the secrets held within any Immortal Artifact will stand the test of time.

How Does it Work?

Immortal uses its network of museums and 3D Scanning experts to organize museum exhibitions and digital NFT construction of the assets in rare collections.  Investors will receive the Digital NFT while the object is stored securely in the museum's display cases or in their vault.  Want to learn more?  Join the discord!

Why Does It Matter?

Ancient objects hold the secrets of our past, and the secrets of our past often hold the keys to the future. Immortal recognizes that the keys needed to unlock these secrets do not always exist in the present. This is why the preservation of these artifacts is so important. As new technology develops which allows us to dive deeper into these ancient objects, it is our duty to keep them stored as close to their original condition as possible. And when we discover new secrets it is also our duty to spread them to our populus to maximize their potential.

Why Me?

Becoming an Immortal Sponsor is not just about philanthropy.  It is about so much more.  You become the owner of an exclusive NFT, receive VIP treatment in the form of exclusive benefits and experiences, and most of all declare to the world that the past is the key to our future.

The Exhibition

The initial benefactor, validator, and vault for these teeth will be the Science Museum of Minnesota. Dr. Alex Hastings and team have verified each tooth and will research the collection as the teeth are made on display for the public to see.  More details on the exhibition coming soon.

The Replica

Become the first owner of a tooth and receive a handmade replica of the tooth delivered to your Home. This cast will be a completely true-to-form replica created by the team of scientists at the museum. It will match all dimensions, weight, and texture of the original tooth. The tooth is hand-painted by an expert artist and will also be placed on the blockchain as an NFT separate from the original digital NFT.  More details coming soon

PROCESS

The NFT

The Immortal team worked with the experts at LaserDesign to craft high resolution 3D Models of each Tooth in the collection.  Read about the process of building a 3D model and minting an NFT in the case study, coming soon.

The History

Megaladon Sharks were the largest sharks to have ever lived.  Learn more about what we currently know about these sharks, what is left to learn, and where these teeth were found.
